We’ll use this information to investigate and respond to your complaint. If you have supporting documents, mention them here and we will tell you how to send them securely if they are needed.

What counts as a data protection complaint?

Any concern about how we have collected, used, shared, stored or protected your personal information, or how we have handled a request about it. For example, a request for your information that was not answered, details that are wrong, or messages you did not expect to receive.

What happens next

We will acknowledge your data protection complaint within 30 days and investigate it without undue delay.
We will make appropriate enquiries and keep you informed where appropriate.
We will tell you the outcome without undue delay.

We may ask for more information if we need it to find the relevant records or to confirm that you are entitled to make the complaint, for example on behalf of someone else. We will not ask for identity documents unless it is genuinely necessary.
